Shipman, Meyer, Newkirk and Grobe Win at Chateau Speedway

Jason Newkirk won the USRA Hobby Stock main event.

LANSING, Minn. (Sept. 5, 2025)—Friday night at Chateau Speedway, four drivers raced to the top of the podium in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series.

Travis Shipman of Mason City, IA, topped the Skjeveland Enterprises USRA Stock Car feature. Ross Spitzer of Blooming Prairie, and Jason Schlangen of Cresco, IA, finished second and third, respectively. Jesse Brown of Nashua, IA, took fourth, with Cole Lonergan of Dexter completing the top five.

In the B Modifieds class, Mike Meyer of New Richland claimed victory. Josh Mattick of Austin, finished second, followed by Jackson Hale of Grand Meadow in third. Zach Elward of Hayfield, and Noah Grinstead of Austin, rounded out the top five.

The Power 96 USRA Hobby Stocks saw Jason Newkirk of Austin, emerge victorious. Jack Paulson of Morristown, finished second, and David Gustafson of Pine Island, placed third. Brady Krohnberg of Walters, and Jack Maas of Faribault, completed the top five.

Matt Grobe of Austin, won the Outlaw Mini-Mods feature. Matt Wallin of Glenville, finished second, and Joey Robel of Charles City, IA, placed third. Ben Mattick of Mantorville, and Wyatt Medlin of Rockford, IA, took fourth and fifth, respectively.
