Chateau Speedway to Take Advantage of Rule Allowing WISSOTA Modifieds to run 3 times in 2019

Chateau Speedway in Lansing continues to look for ways to give more drivers a chance to run at the Historic Facility and give fans more opportunities to see more drivers compete. The Track, established in 1956, which runs a mix of WISSOTA and USRA Sanctioned classes including the USRA A Mods will take advantage of a rule that allows them to give WISSOTA Modified drivers a chance to compete with them a few times during the 2019 Season. The rule allows the Non-USRA WISSOTA Modified drivers three nights where they can compete with the USRA cars. The WISSOTA drivers will be required to purchase a USRA license, either a full license or a Temp license good for one night. With 23 nights on the schedule, including Specials, it may be hard for drivers to pick just 3 nights to take advantage of this rule. It will be interesting to see if any drivers make the changes to their cars that would be required to run more often.

With the Track already hosting WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, WISSOTA Street Stock, WISSOTA Pure Stock, WISSOTA Hornets, USRA B Mods, and USRA A Mods on a weekly basis, KEVKO Outlaw Mini Mods on a part time basis, as well as two Specials with the IMCA Stock Cars and the Mastell Brothers Touring Non Wing Sprint Series in 2019, this just adds more to the list of things fans can look forward to this season.
