Chateau Speedway to Promote 2020 Dodge County Fair Thunderbird Open and bring Traditional Sprints

January 18, 2020

Chateau Speedway Promoter Mark Wytaske has signed on again to help promote the 2020 Thunderbird Open during the Dodge County Fair in Kasson in July and he’s planning on bringing the Non-Wing Traditional Sprints to the Show. Wytaske and his crew helped with last year’s show and have agreed to help again this year. With The Track announcing last week that they would be hosting the Non-Wing Traditional Sprints twice next season at Chateau they have set up back to back nights on the schedule for the Series to run in South East Minnesota. The Track has the Series running in August again this year (August 7th) and also added a July date, July 17th at the Lansing track. With the Thunderbird Open Scheduled for Thursday July 16th the decision was made to try to set up a back to back arrangement with the Series and it worked out. A little paperwork to finish but it looks to be an exciting two days.
Along with the Non-Wing Traditional Sprints the Thunderbird Open will feature four other of the seven classes that run at Chateau Speedway on a weekly basis. Joining the Fun at the Fair will be the USRA A and B Mods as well as the WISSOTA Street Stock and Midwest Modified. Race time and pricing will be worked out with the Dodge County Fair Board and announced soon.
